Hello lovely folks of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts!
As someone who was initially licensed in the State of Florida, as soon as I was eligible to apply for reciprocity in other states, Massachusetts was the first one I decided to go for. I love your state and often think about moving there. Cape Cod has a special place in my heart, and I have many friends who live across the state. I also think it’s the state I’ve seen the most concerts in but that I have never actually lived in!
I’ve been happy to watch the progressive politics of the state over the years, including being the first to enact same sex marriage, plus towns like Somerville, MA enacting protections for polyamorous and non-monogamous individuals and families. It is important to me to reach the clients that I am most experienced in working with, and that is definitely a lot of folks in Massachusetts! I’ve truly enjoyed counseling the clients who I have worked with since first getting my license in Massachusetts in 2023. Please know that I have been counseling clients in Florida with supervision since 2013, then was fully and independently licensed in 2018, so although my license in MA is new, I am not a new therapist.
